The National Maritime has bought a copy of the book 'work of the lightship men: 1000 tasks' that I created for the project Last Station (with lead artists Mary Hooper and Elise Liversedge, see https://www.facebook.com/pages/Last-Station-locateddislocated/107472156092970) for their permanent collection.

Kay Syrad in Telling Stories Exhibition at Kaleidoscope Gallery & Reading Poetry at Lauderdale House
Telling Stories #2 runs from 4 April - 31 May at Sevenoaks Kaleidoscope Gallery. I've collaborated with artist and performer Clare Whistler to create a piece inspired by Andrew Carnegie's philanthropic support of more than 2,500 libraries in the late 19th and early 20th century, including one at Sevenoaks. Private view, 4 April, 6-8pm. www.tellingstories.info
On Wednesday, 23 April I shall be reading poetry at Lauderdale House in north London, along with poets Giles Goodland, Sarah Howe, Hannah Lowe and Vidyan Ravinthiran.
The reading, hosted by Shanta Acharya, starts at 8pm. Tickets £5 (£3 concs). Lauderdale House is at Highgate Hill, Waterlow Park, London N6 5HG.
